The Wheelock VLP series is a series of light plates and strobe plates.
History
The VLP series was introduced in 1986 together with the VL series to compete with the Simplex 2903 series. The series initially consisted of the VLP-24 and VLPS-24, which were plate versions of the VL and WS respectively. Unlike the 2903 series, the VLP plates had the visual signal below the audible signal.[1] In 1989, the VLPH-24 and VLPH-115 were released together with the WH series, and in 1993, the VLPM-24 was released with a vertical strobe as a strobe plate version of the WM.[2][3]
