The Wheelock WM series is a series of strobes rated for 117 candela under UL 1638. The strobes were available as remote strobes and as part of combination strobes.
History
The WM series was released in 1992 to comply with ADA and to illuminate sleeping areas.[1] Many combination devices with WS series strobes then became available with WM strobes.
In 1994, due to the UL 1971 requirements taking effect, the WM series was no longer usable for indoor public mode signaling.[2] Wheelock continued producing certain WM strobes for outdoor use until the end of 2001.[3][4] At this point, the RSSWP series replaced the WM series.
