The Wheelock WH series is a series of 70,000 candlepower strobes.

History

The WH series was released in 1989 to meet the New York City code requirements.[2] The EH series was also released at this time with an option for WH strobes, and WH strobes were added to the EW series.

In 1994, the UL 1971 requirements made the WH series no longer usable for indoor public mode signaling.[3] Wheelock continued manufacturing the WH for outdoor and private mode signaling, and the MT series was given a WH strobe option for this purpose.

After 1999, all WH remote strobes except the 115 VAC models were discontinued, with the WM3T functioning as an alternative. The MTWP was released in 2002 as a replacement for the DC WH models of the MT, but the MT4-115-WH remains in production.
