The Wheelock LS series is a series of 15 candela remote strobes and strobe plates. The strobes were also available on other notification appliances.

History

The LS series was released together with the MS series and HSW series between 1993 and 1994 to meet the UL 1971 light distribution requirements. Many of Wheelock's products were updated to use these strobes instead of WS strobes.

The LS remote strobes and strobe plates were phased out after the release of the RS and RSP, which were very similar. Combination strobes such as the MT-24-LS-VFR remained in production until the early 2000s, with the ET-1080-LS-24 discontinued as late as 2004. ULC products such as the E-7025-LS-24-VFR-ULC remained in production past this point.
