The Wheelock AES series is a series of multi-input multitone horns and horn strobes.

History

The AES was released in 1991 with the multi-input functionality of the AMT, which was not ready for release at the time.[1] The tone names were the same as the ES, but the horn size was reduced, leading to slightly different tones, including a horn that sounds the same as the EH.

The AES series initially included remote horns and horn strobes with WS and WM strobes.[3][4] Models with LSM strobes were later released.

The AES series was discontinued around 1995 and replaced with the AMT.

Features

The AES remote horns are 6-wire devices with independent terminals for the horn, siren, and warble tones. Horn strobe models include additional terminals for the strobe.
