The Wheelock AES series is a series of multi-input multitone horns and horn strobes.

History

The AES was released in 1991 with the multi-input functionality of the AMT, which was not ready for release at the time. The tone names were the same as the ES, but the horn size was reduced, leading to slightly different tones, including a horn that sounds the same as the EH.

The AES series initially included remote horns and horn strobes with WS and WM strobes. Models with LSM strobes were later released.

The AES series was discontinued around 1995 and replaced with the AMT.

Features

The AES remote horns are 6-wire devices with independent terminals for the horn, siren, and warble tones. Horn strobe models include additional terminals for the strobe.
