The Gamewell Identifire Network System 2 was an addressable system.

History

The INS 2 was introduced by Gamewell in 1989 and replaced the older flex-500 and flex-5000 network [1] Later in 1989, Cerberus AG merged Gamewell with Pyrotronics to form Cerberus Pyrotronics. Some time after Gamewell split from Cerberus Pyrotronics in 1990, Cerberus Pyrotronics discontinued the INS 2 and introduced the IXL for retrofits.

The INS 2 was discontinued by Gamewell in 2003.
