The Wheelock SL series is a series of 15 candela sync strobes. Remote strobes and strobe plates were available, and certain notification appliances produced with LS strobes were also produced with SL strobes.

History

The SL series was released around 1994 together with the SLM, SHW, and SCM. Unlike the LS, the SL did not support 12 volt operation.

In 1995, the SR and SRP were released. Since these strobes had similar functionality to the SL, the SL remote strobes and strobe plates were discontinued. Combination strobes such as the MT-24-SL-VFR were produced until the early 2000s.
