The Wheelock S 8" series, also known as the S series or S8 series, is a series of 8-inch ceiling speakers and speaker strobes.

History

The S 8" series was released in 2002 with single-voltage speakers and power taps for 1/4, 1/2, 1, 2, and 5 watts.

In 2004, the series was updated to make the speakers dual voltage, and the power taps were changed to match the ET series. Speaker strobe models were also released at this time.

The S 8" speaker strobes were discontinued in 2023 together with many other xenon strobe products. The S 8" speaker remains in production.
