The Bosch B-Series is a series of control panels from Bosch that is capable of doing Intrusion, Residential Fire Alarm, and Access Control (B6512 only). They are Bosch's latest entry to mid level panels, and are similar to the Bosch G-Series, but are meant for small to small-medium sized buildings. These panels are UL listed for Residential Fire, Residential Burg, Commercial Burg, and Access Control (B6512 only). It's important to note that these panels are not Commercial Fire listed, and are not officially supported with the B925F and B926F keypads. As well as these panels don't have backwards compatibly with older Bosch/Radionics system equipment (including the lack of an SDI bus). If commercial fire alarm and backwards compatibility is required, then a Bosch G-Series panels are suitable. The advantage of the B-Series is programming can be done on the keypad or on RPS without the need of a expensive security dongle[1]. The Bosch B-Series is compatible with all the same burglary keypads as the Bosch G-Series with the expect of the SDI keypads (ex: D1255). The B-Series came out a couple years before the G-Series.

Features

Including but not limited to:

Skeds- Schedules which can be programmed to do a variety of actions at a programmed time on selected days in a week.

"RADION Wireless- A wireless receiver(s) (Bosch B810) can be placed on the system's SDI2 bus to receive signals from RADION wireless devices such as wireless intrusion detectors and keyfobs.

Programmable Menus- The systems menu's and user configs are highly customizable. The programmer can choose what they want to show up on the system menu, and what commands can be used.

Cloud Services- Installers can access Bosch Cloud Services. That paid service allows installers to use remote programming and setup remote control for users without the need for third party services, DDNS, or port forwarding. Only certified installers can access this program. Non-installers can still get access to RSC and Remote RPS using things like DDNS and port forwarding.

Remote Programing- Like most other Bosch panels, the panels can be programmed by the installer in RPS off-site, over Bosch Cloud Services, IP, Cellular, or a modem over the PSTN.

Remote App Control (RSC)- The Bosch RSC or Remote Security Manger apps can be used to view system status and remotely control the system from a smartphone.

On-board ethernet- The panel can connected to Ethernet without the need of any additional cards or modules

Programming

Most of the Bosch B-series can be programmed with a keypad. The panel can be entirely programmed with RPS without the need of a security dongle. The panel can be programmed locally using the onboard-USB port, or the onboard ethernet port, or remotely over Bosch Cloud Services, IP, Cellular, or a modem over the PSTN.

Models

-E (No onboard ethernet port) prefix applies to all models. If an onboard ethernet port does not apply to your application, then these models are slightly cheaper then the normal models.
