Talk:System Sensor SpectrAlert Advance series
Dr.Exquisite: pointless/redundant or misleading information
I have recently seen through our the wiki about redundant stuff as rebrands and popularity. I don't believe that belongs here. This is what happened to the Fandom wiki I ran. Because people didn't put out factual pages and have some misleading information. Luckily this page was minor but other pages like the BG12 series need a overhaul.
Overwritten changes
Please be sure to pull in other changes before you do something major, I've had to combine multiple entries back. Joseph (talk) 02:48, 19 January 2024 (UTC)
TheCarson116 - RE: Overwritten changes
Sorry Joseph: I only meant to revert the History & Features section but somehow screwed up the infobox & models table as well. I would have fixed it myself but you did before I could, so thank you.
Model Number Lists - Should be shortened?
The Model number list seems long, can this be fixed? I was thinking of adding X's in the Model Numbers, for differing colors and mounting styles.
Should this page be renamed to "SpectrAlert Advance"
SpectrAlert is a registered trademark by Honeywell (source), so I don't think there will ever be any ambiguity when someone refers to "SpectrAlert Advance." Also, I rarely see people say "System Sensor SpectrAlert Advance Series" when discussing the series. If this page is renamed to "SpectrAlert Advance," then it also becomes more natural to create pages such as "SpectrAlert Advance P2-LF" and "SpectrAlert Advance MH" to document specific devices. - Currently this exactly scenario is written out in the style guide, we can definitely discuss redoing that rule if it seems to be more redundant than anything. Joseph (talk) 04:45, 16 February 2024 (UTC)
