The Notifier ONYX series are high end intelligent fire alarm control panels. They succeeded the Notifier AFP series panels and came before the Notifier INSPIRE series.

History

The ONYX series was first released in 2001 with the NFS-640 and XPIQ.

In August 2002, Notifier introduced the NFS-3030.

In 2006, Notifier introduced the NFS2-3030 to meet UL 9th edition requirements. The NFS-320 was introduced in January 2007, and the NFS2-640 was introduced in February 2007. The NFS-320C was introduced later in 2007.

The NFS-640 and NFS-3030 were discontinued at the end of 2009.
