The Bosch/Radionics D7024 is a hybrid Fire Alarm Control Panel. The panel comes with 4 onboard zones, and can be expanded to 8 with a FPC-7034, or an be used a addressable/intelligent panel with support for Bosch's MUX addressable devices using the FPE-7039.The D7024 was originally branded by Radionics, when Bosch bought radionics, all D7024's made became Bosch branded. The D7024 was replaced with the FPD-7024 in 2007 to enhance system features and capabilities.
Specifications
The Bosch D7024 has 4-onboard zone, and can be expanded to 8-zones with the FPC-7034. A FPE-7039 can be used and allows for up to 219 addressable Bosch MUX devices. The panel has 2 on-board NAC's with a shared power of 4 amps and output voltage. The NAC's support Wheelock and Gentex (firmware v2.04+ only) sync. The panel supports Remote NAC's. The panel has an onboard 2 line LCD and keypad, and can support 8 annunciators. The panels option bus has the same purpose as the SDI bus on Bosch and Radionics panels. The panel has 2-onboard phone lines.
Differences from the FPD-7024
The FPD-7024 includes a ground fault and supervisory LED, which the D7024 lacks. The FPD-7024 also has a slightly different firmware. The FPD-7024 has a Acknowledge key which the D7024 lacks. The FPD-7024 has terminal blocks compared to the non-removable terminals on the D7024. The FPD-7024 supports IP communication which the D7024 does not. Other then these differences and a few other minor differences, both panels are the same.
