SDI

The SDI Bus is a addressable bus mainly on some mainly on the newest Radionics and earliest Bosch panels which connects to system components, such as keypads, zone/output expanders, diagnostic tools, and wireless receivers. The SDI bus is still available on the Bosch G-Series (Bosch's newest flagship fire/intrusion panel) for backwards compatibility with older devices for use with retrofitting older 7000/9000 series panels.
Supervised and Unsupervised Keypads
Each panel supports a certain amount of supervised keypads depending on the panel. Each panel has a maximum amount of supervised keypads, if you set a keypad address to be unsupervised, you can have multiple keypads on that address. While the manuals list a max limit of unsupervised keypads, you can use an infinite amount of keypads on an unsupervised address if you have enough power/power supplies to do so.
