Hello there, this page has a few misleading bits of information. First of all, the Simplex 2120 was not an addressable fire alarm panel, it was a multiplexing fire alarm system, which utilized transponders to monitor and control points. Now there was a transponder called the "communicating device transponder, which had the ability to communicate with mapnet devices, but you cannot put addressable devices on the transponder communications loop.
Also, Mapnet 1 supported about 68 devices if i recall, or around that number.
