The SKE-450 is a voice evacuation control panel produced by Silent Knight.

History

The SKE-450 series was introduced in 2001, as an upgraded version of the SKE-426 (which had a very short run).

The Silent Knight SKE-450 is still being produced today, with a redesigned door to match the design of Silent Knight's recent products.

Specifications

The Silent Knight SKE-450 series features 50W of output power on either a 25V or 70.7V speaker circuit. The speaker circuit can be wired as Class A or B. The SKE-450 series also features a built-in supervised microphone that provides a system paging function and field message programming capability.

The system comes with 2 built-in messages (up to 30 seconds) and a 3rd message may be added (up to 45 seconds). Silent Knight also provides downloadable messages, free of charge.

The SKE-450 series has 2 alarm inputs and 2 Form-C relays for alarm and trouble.

Silent Knight SKE-450 (New Style)

The SKE-450-ZN4/ZN6 comes equipped with a 4 or 6 zone splitter. Both splitters provide paging by zone or all call.

Each model has seven visual indicators to display alarm and different trouble conditions.
