The Fire Control Instruments MS series is a series of extruded aluminum tab-style manual fire alarm and suppression release system pull stations. they were introduced sometime in the 1980's and discontinued by honeywell in 2004. the ms-2 utilizes a spring steel tab to keep the lever pulled. the ms-2 came in several variations I.e the ms-2L ( institutional model with locked pull lever) MS-2D ( DPST toggle switch with pigtail leads) or MS-2H ( fire suppression release ) and MS-2P ( two stage ) several companies also rebranded the MS-2 pull station I.e honeywell, Johnson controls, fenwal, ansul,FAST(EST) and Siemens, fci also rebranded the protectowire bg-50 for use outdoors. fci also made a single action version of the ms-2 called the ms-6, this particular pull station worked much like a notifier bng-1, using a tab to hold the station shut and using a push button instead of a toggle switch
